From our convenient base in the foothills of the Berkshires in western Massachusetts, Zoar Outdoor offers whitewater river rafting and float trips in southern New England, including Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont.

Whether you're an individual looking for kayak instruction, a group trying whitewater river rafting for the first time, or a family planning for a memorable outdoor vacation, we can help you find a fun outdoor adventure in New England.

zoargap_01 In Massachusetts, Zoar Outdoor is proud to offer rafting trips as well as whitewater canoe and kayak clinics on the Deerfield, Concord and Millers Rivers and rock climbing instruction for adults and kids. You can also choose to explore the Deerfield River on your own as the master of your own sit-on-top kayak.

Adrenaline pumping Connecticut rafting can be found on the Housatonic River on Zoar Outdoor’s one day rafting trip in Bulls Bridge , Connecticut's most dramatic river gorge. Located in the state’s northwestern hills, Bulls Bridge on the Housatonic River holds some of the most challenging rapids and the most beautiful scenery in Connecticut.

If Vermont rafting is what you’re looking for, the Class III rapids of the West River near Stratton Mountain, Vermont are a terrific rafting trip from Zoar Outdoor. This intermediate-level white water rafting trip is an ideal way to kick off the season or to view the fall foliage. We put in at Ball Mountain Dam, stop by the riverside for a brief snack and have opportunities for swimming before taking out at Townshend Reservoir.

I just wanted to say thank you for… a great Father’s day raft trip… your facility was 10 times better than the year we went to Maine.
